From Policy Recommendations to Practical Actions: Towards Gender Transformative Practices for Baguio City’s Flood Early Warning System

This publication outlines the process by which the ASEAN Australia Smart Cities Trust Fund (AASCTF) programme project has developed draft actions with key Flood Early Warning System (FEWS) stakeholders that can be taken forward to design a gender transformative FEWS in Baguio City. In a transformative approach, the FEW systems and processes are designed throughout in a way that centres and empowers those who might otherwise be an afterthought, or not considered at all.
