Plan International, as a member of the Zurich Flood Resilience Alliance, worked with communities in El Salvador to strengthen their resilience against floods, ensuring that flood events do not hinder the well-being of people. Through different interventions such as establishing community response committees, training in evacuation techniques and sharing good practices, Plan helped these communities adapt to flooding, safeguarding lives and livelihoods.
