Wildfire Peer Review report Greece 2024

The Greek wildfire risk management system is effective and well-structured, although mostly focused on preparedness and response. However, in recent years, the country has made concrete efforts to implement a paradigm shift from wildfire management to wildfire risk management, focusing more strongly on prevention and promoting a cross-sectoral and holistic approach.
