Building Community Flood Resilience in Peru

The Alliance is dedicated to building long-term resilience in communities facing flood risk and other environmental hazards, both in developed and developing regions. By working hand in hand with affected communities and fostering strong partnerships, the Alliance is able to create sustainable, lasting impact. Their efforts not only enhance local resilience but also influence global, national, and regional policies to address climate hazards. Collaboration between state and non-state actors is key to developing effective solutions. The Alliance strengthens flood resilience, expands funding, and now addresses additional threats like droughts and wildfires, working internationally across 15+ countries in partnership with nine organisations.
