Development of a Simplified Risk Mapping Tool to Facilitate and Optimize Emergency Response to Major Floods (FRAT)

The main objective of this initiative is to improve capacity to predict and address future post-disaster shelter recovery needs and issues as well as to manage information about on-going risks after a disaster and their implications for shelter planning. This improved capacity will ensure quick and efficient shelter provision after a disaster and will help to optimize resource utilization at both national and international levels.
