Multi-stakeholder management: Tools for Stakeholder Analysis: 10 building blocks for designing participatory systems of cooperation

The tool box contains ten building blocks that have been tested in practice. The criterion used to select from the large number of tools available was their capability of being used as widely and flexibly as possible. The building blocks can be used either in workshops with selected stakeholders or as an instrument for developing and weighing up strategic options. This volume was designed to serve practical aspects. The first part illustrates the various building blocks, with procedures and suggestions for visualization for practical use. This is followed by a presentation of the wider conceptual context of Stakeholder Analysis for the interested reader. The volume ends with lessons learned from a pilot application in Senegal.
