Rural Flood Resilience in Pangasinan

Flood resilience is a pressing issue in the Philippines, particularly in underserved rural areas. The Mobile Clinic Initiative addresses this by deploying go-bikes equipped with medical supplies, bringing vital healthcare services to remote, flood-prone communities. By prioritising community-driven solutions, the project ensures that residents are actively involved in long-term planning. With support from the Philippine Red Cross as part of the Zurich Climate Resilience Alliance, the initiative strengthens local capacity, helping communities prepare for and recover from environmental challenges. This approach demonstrates that when communities lead, lasting and effective change follows.
