From devastating floods in Bangladesh to extreme heat in Mexico, hazards vary from context to context – but in every case, information gathered directly from the community is the foundation for effective and sustainable solutions. The Climate Resilience Measurement for Communities (CRMC) has been used in over 300 communities worldwide. Through the participation of those directly impacted by floods, heatwaves, wildfires and other hazards, it provides a comprehensive picture of a community's level of preparedness and ability to adapt to shocks.
