This brief uses the Post Event Review Capability (PERC) methodology to examine the 2023 wildfires in Bolivia’s Tacana and T’simane-Mosetén Indigenous Territories. The event happened during an extreme El Niño-Southern Oscillation related drought, which burned approximately 100,000 hectares, affected more than 1,400 families, and caused livelihood losses of more than USD 20 million.
