London Climate Action Week 2025: Financing climate adaptation – role of the private sector

London Climate Action Week is an annual event that brings together an array of world leading climate professionals and communities to find solutions to climate change. Taking place for the 7th year running, London Climate Action Week provides a platform for organisations, communities and individuals to showcase their climate-focused activities.

Climate adaptation remains critically underfunded and the role of the private sector in addressing the finance gap is hotly contested. This event, run in collaboration with the London School of Economics and Mercy Corps, will shine a spotlight on the potential for the private sector to deliver adaptation finance and share different perspectives, bringing together varied experiences and insights from the international development sector, investors and governments.
