Building ecosystem resilience in Ethiopia’s Somali Region

How can we build the long-term resilience of communities to withstand recurring food and water insecurity, droughts and flash floods in the Horn of Africa and wider Sahel? This animation showcases integrated approaches, linking disaster risk reduction (DRR), climate change adaptation (CCA), and ecosystem management and restoration (EMR), to address the underlying problems degrading the landscape and causing disasters.
